The Kawo2 is one of three dormitories at Kastanienweg in the West of Aachen.
Its location between the RWTH's main campus around the main building and Campus Melaten provides short ways to the university.
The dormitory has partly furnished rooms in shared flats and also partly furnished apartments.
In the outdoor area a barbecue can be made and a vegetable garden can be used together with your neighbors.
Small shops in the neighborhood and our own drinks machine ensure the culinary well-being.

As the dormitory is self-organised, volunteers are need to keep many services running.
There is something for everyone to do.
Besides the administrative taskes like the Occupation Comitee (BA), which takes care of potential new tenants, there are other Jobs.
Whether it's people with green fingers managing the kitchen garden, IT enthusiasts looking after the network, the homepage or other technology, sports enthusiasts managing the fitness room or talented organizers taking care of board games lending, drinks shopping or theme evenings in the K2-Bar – every helping hand contributes.
Prior knowledge/experience wished, but not necessary.
The K2-Bar is the dorm bar for the last 20 years and opens every Tuesday on 22 o'clock (10pm) for residents and students from nearby.
The bar is run by residents voluntary and is a place to establish new contacts for residents and other students and start or end the evening in pleasant atmosphere.
At Kawo2 you get a fast access to the university network and over that to the Internet!
